Storm Audio, based in MOL, Belgium, recently had an introduction ceremony held by their Indian Distributors in Mumbai on the 2nd & 3rd of December 2016. Mr. Yves Trelohan, Senior VP – Storm Audio was present to give the invited persons from the Indian AV Industry, an introduction of Storm Audio and subsequently a live demo of one of their Custom Install Immersive Sound Processors.

We were pleasantly surprised as well as astounded by the number of menu’s and sequences of processes available to the installer in order to dial in the complete set-up as per the installer’s requirements with respect to the room, room size and client preferences. Only one who knows what he/she is doing and has received the training from Storm Audio, would be able to handle this complex piece of equipment and is certainly not for the faint of heart! Mr. Treholan patiently explained all the functions, features, menu’s, sub menu’s to the present audience, giving quite a detailed insight of what was possible with the processors and power amps made by Storm Audio. It was truly an absorbing few hours which finally ended with a few demo’s of movie clips and music concerts played to give the audience an idea of what the end results would sound like.
Overall, Storm Audio has an excellent background and we see no reason why their products won’t make their presence felt in the luxury custom AV installs all over the country. We look forward to experiencing a complete install in the near future. Storm Audio will be shipping their processors and amps for demo purposes to the Indian Distributors in the second half of January 2017.
