Press release as received from Daniela Manger

“Dear all,

You may already read the sad news. I would like to ask you to share this lines with your local magazines to pay our last respect to my father, as he created something extraordinary. With great sadness I have to announce the death of my father, Josef W. Manger.

Josef W. Manger was the founder of Manger Products. His journey began more than 40 years ago when he was unsatisfied with the way traditional loudspeakers sounded. He invested endless hours, weeks, months and many years to find a better ways to a more natural audio reproduction. His consistent dedication to this area eventually led to the Manger Sound Transducer and the first set of loudspeaker models. Up until his death, my father has been an avid thinker and has come up with even more solutions in audio technology. Throughout his lifetime, Josef W. Manger has been awarded 40 patents and was given the renowned Diesel Medal in 1982, one of the highest awards for outstanding achievements in engineering.

I’m leading the company since many years and will continue to not only share my dad’s passion for technology and natural audio reproduction, but also strive to grow the companies vision and product line, solidifying Manger Audio and its products worldwide as the high end audio brand.

Josef W. Manger has died October 27th, 2016 at the age of 87.

Thank you!

Beste Grüße/best regards,

Daniela Manger, CEO
